Terms of service

These terms cover the hosted Quadru app, installed from the Shopify App Store and served from quadruapp.com. Installing the app means you accept them.

What the service does

Quadru displays a cached, read-only copy of your Square Item Library inside the Shopify admin, alongside your Shopify products. It does not write to either catalog.

Your accounts

You need a Shopify store and a Square account, and you must be entitled to connect both. You are responsible for what happens under them. You may disconnect Square or uninstall the app at any time; see Privacy for what that deletes.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another merchant’s data, disrupt the service for others, or use it to breach your agreements with Shopify or Square. Access may be suspended if you do.

Accuracy of the catalog

Square is the source of truth for your item library. Quadru shows a cached copy that can be briefly out of date between refreshes, and Square or Shopify may be unavailable or return errors. Do not rely on Quadru as the sole basis for pricing, stock, or fulfilment decisions.

Availability and warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. There is no uptime commitment. It may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quadru and its author are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Price

Any charge for the app is shown on its Shopify App Store listing before you install, and is billed by Shopify.

The source code

Quadru’s source is published under the Apache 2.0 licence at github.com/ifrederico/quadruapp. That licence governs the code. These terms govern the hosted service, which is a separate app with its own credentials — running your own instance is outside their scope.

Termination

Uninstall the app to end these terms. Access may be ended if the terms are breached or the service is discontinued.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. Questions go to shop@quadruapp.com.
